The weather still continues to play havoc on our golf season.  We have however, gotten the golf course in shape for this season.  We have been mowing daily to keep the course in the best possible condition as possible.  I have been out myself helping our maintenance staff to help keep up with the mowing, so if you are having issues and need to get a hold of me, please remember you can call and leave a message, or send me an email.

As always, I highly encourage tee times.  Those who get tee times will have the priority on the golf course.  This is not a new thing, as this is a standard procedure.  Singles and Twosomes will be paired up with other players to make threesomes and foursomes.  We are also implementing a single rider cart policy during the peak hours of golf course operations (for details on the times please call the Pro Shop).  Groups of 2 or more will be allowed 1 cart per person.  All groups will pair off and share carts during the peak times.

We also understand that people would like to bring children out to the golf course.  Children that are 4 years of age and younger are not permitted on the playing course at any time due to safety concerns.  They may accompany you on the driving range and putting green areas.  Those persons who hide children or lie about their age, will be asked to leave the course immediately.

Our Pro Shop is completely stocked with all of your golfing needs.  Remember that all items purchased on Fort Riley is tax free, and that we can order Titleist, Callaway, Nike, Taylor Made, and Cobra Puma.  There are a lot of great products out there for you to try out and get.

The tournament calendar has been updated through the end of July, so please watch the calendar before coming up to the golf course.  If your unit would like to schedule a golf outing or event, please feel free to call me at the Pro Shop at 785-784-6000 to schedule an appointment.

We have room for lessons and clinics also.  If you would like to schedule a lesson with PGA Professionals, then please call me at 785-784-6000.  My rates are $35 for 30-minutes or 3 30-minute lessons for $90.
