The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has reduced the lake wide blue green algae “Warning” on Milford lake. Milford Lake is under a combined “Advisory/Warning” status. Those areas north of Farnum Creek will be placed in a “Warning” level status while all areas south of Farnum Creek will be listed in the “Advisory” level status
The Fort Riley Marina will be offering all of our boats for rent this weekend. Please come out and visit us.

Marina open, boat rentals available
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has placed Milford lake under a Blue-Green Algae Warning. As a result of lake-wide Blue-Green Algae impacts, KDWP&T and the Corps of Engineers will be closing designated beaches. Warning signs will be placed at boat ramps and access points.
The Fort Riley Marina will be open but no direct water contact crafts can be rented. This includes canoes, kayaks, jet skies, tubes, water skies, etc. Boats will still be available to rent; however, direct contact with the water is prohibited.
