Usage Areas
We’re here five days a week for you, including nights and weekends!

The woodshop has 2,400 square feet of floor space and all the specialized equipment needed to complete any project. A large selection of hardwoods, plywood, and processed material is available for purchase.

The ceramic studio has two potters wheels and two ceramic kilns, making it possible to create finished ceramic ware from scratch, you can bring in your ceramic greenware and bisque to have fired.

The matting and framing studio has a huge selection of mats and frame stock available as well as state of the art equipment. Conservation and preservation matts are available for fine art work pieces. Finish a project in one day with the help of our friendly staff.

Our studio area includes sewing, and scrap booking, we have specialized equipment such as sewing machines, glass saw and grinders for stained glass, zyron and acc-u-cut for scrap booking, are available for walk-in use.

Arts & Crafts Center offers tours and classes for groups such as coffee groups, FRG’s and scouts. Contact our staff for more information, 239-9205.



Important Class Information
Pre-registration and payment are required for some classes. Call for additional information, 239-9205. Class begins promptly; late arrivals will not always be accepted. Some ongoing class schedules have changed; check dates and class descriptions for details. Some classes will require you to purchase supplies. Call to verify the dates and sign up procedures. There are enrollment limits, so sign up early.

WOOD SAFETY (Orientation and First Time User Course)

Learn the basic in safety and how to use each piece of equipment in the wood shop area, this is a requirement before you can use the wood shop area. Call for dates of class. The class is held twice a month, class fee $10.00
(Patrons are required to take this class before using the woodshop.
You will receive a certification card DA3031 after completing the course.)

MATTING & FRAMING (Orientation and First Time User Course)
Learn the skill to do your own matting and framing and save a bundle! Subjects covered in this one-night class include: material selection, matt cutting, frame chopping and assembly, and glass cutting. All materials are provided for hands-on instruction. Students will not be working on their own projects. This class is required before using this area. This is a one-night class, held twice a month on Monday evening. Class fee $10.00

Crochet and Knitting Class this class is for the beginner and for the intermediate. You will learn the basics in crocheting and knitting, or if you need assistance with a pattern that you have started but need technical advice this is the class. Our instructor is highly qualified and can teach you or assist you in any technique that you want to achieve. Class held each month, 1:00 – 4:00 pm, this class is $5.00, please stop by or call to signup, everyone must pre-register.

Our sales store has supplies for many crafts and hobbies to include: woodworking, ceramic, pottery, photo, stained glass, quilting & sewing supplies (excluding fabric), basket weaving, engraving metal, matts & frames, posters, leisure art books: (cross-stitch, quilting & plastic canvas), DMC floss. The Shop has hand made wooden farewell gifts, flag holders, and coin holders, shadow box frames to display your medals, triangle name holders.

Professional Matting & Framing: Our shop has over 500 frame molding choices and only the highest quality conservation, preservation matts for your valuable pieces. Stop in and get a free estimate.

Engraving Shop: We offer computerized engraving for plaques.

Ceramic Shop: You can drop off your greenware or glazeware for firing here; there is a minimal charge per inch.

Laser Engraver: The engraver is able to cut into wood, plastic, glass
and mirror. Stop in, take a look at our samples and see what we can do!
